  • Dyson GB has achieved its ambition, growing at an aggressive rate in past years. 2018 and beyond will bring new challenges to Dyson GB, continues to focus on the growth ambition whilst also needing to transform the categories, brand communication and organisation.
  • You will deliver online awareness and profit generating activity in the GB market, working in close partnership with the Category Managers, Direct and Sales teams.

Market Overview

Pivoting to new technologies within categories and pro-actively managing change with our retailers will be a key focus. The planning and execution of world class marketing plans to continue to penetrate more GB households with the right technology will be critical in delivering our stretching profit targets over the coming years.

Accountabilities

  • The main areas of focus for the role include building online brand awareness,  educating consumers and driving forward the development of Dyson online
  • Facilitate increased purchase via increased demand created in digital media environment to Dyson Direct and 3rd Party retail online and physical.
  • Build a lifetime relationship with Dyson owners
  • You will work closely with both internal cross-functional partners including Category Managers, PR managers as well as external agency partners including the creative Centre of Excellence and media agencies to bring breakthrough campaigns to life that grow the GB business.
  • From writing strategic and creative briefs to managing production to building incorporated digital media plans, you will manage the campaign development process from start to finish to support the Category objectives and the Category Marketing Managers.

Skills

  • Experience in delivering an audience first approach to planning and execution 
  • The market champion for an audience driven approach
  • Detailed understanding of the Google Audience products and how the play a role in achieving awareness, consideration and sales targets
  • Clear understanding of the role of upper funnel digital marketing, and how it impacts the path to conversion
  • Understanding of online attribution methodologies to inform media planning
  • Constantly looks for opportunities to integrate online media buying with traditional ATL media (TV syncing)
  • Have proven digital marketing experience in relevant fields (social, programmatic, brand, agency, marketing tech, search, retailer.com, SEO)
