Accountabilities

As a Senior IT Security Analyst you will be responsible for the design, coordination and oversee security testing procedures to verify the security of systems, networks and applications and manage the remediation of identified vulnerabilities. You will provide security risk assessment & recommendations to projects, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to protect the business. This is a technical role so you will write, maintain, and follow security documentation including technical standards, processes, procedures, and operations manuals.

You will provide technical support and security expertise to the IT Security Operations Manager and ensure cost effective, industry best practice security governance and technologies are appropriately implemented across the business. You will also hold a senior position within a diverse security focussed team, providing skills transfer and mentoring to Analysts.


Skills

As a Senior IT Security Analyst you will have at least 4/5 year’s experience in a similar technical Security role demonstration experience of supporting Security investigations, including responding to incidents involving malware, data loss, or network intrusion. Have a good level of knowledge across a number of information security technologies, including hands on working knowledge in many categories such as Identity Security / Network Security / End Point Security and Data Security.

You will have expert knowledge of security tools, techniques and implementation into enterprise environments and a strong grasp of IT Security Governance frameworks & practices. Ideally you will be certified to one or more of the following CISSP / CISM / CISA.
