Determining product viability
Providing the insight on future trends and blending with a innovation-driving design approach across all products and touchpoints.
Planning and conducting new product research
Test internet connected products
Manage quantative and qualitative research projects
Work alongside developers and product managers to implement user research into the Agile process
Present and share customer experiences to influence and inspire
Run interviews and focus groups
Carry out desktop-based research and user testing interfaces, assessing usability of key features and functions
To join our passionate, maturing Experience Design team and to evolve, improve and speed up how we gather our data and insights, you’ll need to have the following skills and experience:
Solid experience working as a User Experience Researcher for digital products and services.
A degree in HCI/UX, social science, or software development
Usability User-centered Design
User Experience Design
Quantitative and Qualitative Research, Focus Groups, Ethnography Behavior Persona Design
Able to share several projects where you lead both generative and evaluative user research and usability initiative.
Proven experience in managing a small team of UX researchers (up to 3 people) and the ability to plan and delegate research accordingly across teams
Proven ability to plan and lead iterative testing in person and un-moderated (using an online tool) to help generate new design concepts and actionable insights.
Knowledge and use of current and established research methodologies
Ability to consolidate, document and present research findings, often from multiple sources, in short, concise, actionable stories to large audiences.
Multi-task across multiple projects and studies going on simultaneously and working with outside vendors where required to conduct research.
Experience with stakeholder management and the ability to schedule and manage multiple projects.
Able to work to a high speed agile process and evaluative research (i.e. quick, iterative prototypes).
Strong organisational skills, able to act independently and able to meet tight deadlines.
