Function Overview

The Retail Marketing Team is responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through our retail partnerships; increasing brand awareness, brand advocacy and engaging consumers. Like everything at Dyson, our retail journey is designed with our consumers at the center. Our aim is to create inspired and highly differentiated consumer experiences that amplify the pioneering technology we make. While pockets of excellence in Retail Marketing exist, there is a clear opportunity to engage our retail partners to raise the overall level of execution for Dyson.

Accountabilities

Providing the leadership that sets the agenda for an excellent shopper experience at every touch point, you’ll take the lead to drive the partnership between your Retail Marketing team and Dyson’s National Accounts team, as well as developing relationships with your retail partners. In this key role, you’ll develop and deliver the in-store and digital retail marketing strategy, gaining buy in from retailers and communicating progress with Finance and retail account teams.

Skills

  • Lead and inspire your team of ambitious Retail Marketing Managers and their direct reports
  • Create, agree and deliver the in-store and digital retail marketing strategy whilst engaging key stakeholder groups – Brand Marketing, Sales, Dyson Retail, and Creative
  • Communicate the strategy to retailers and internal stakeholders and gain buy in for implementation.
  •  Author and drive budgeting for UK Retail Marketing operations to deliver business strategy through strong communication and engagement internally
  • Work and partner with Dyson’s sales teams to plan and produce joint marketing plans with retail accounts
