Senior Project Manager - Retail

The Senior Retail Project Manager ensures that all of our retail projects are planned and resourced to meet business needs. They are responsible for the execution and management of creative and design items. Working closely with the senior retail team and Head of Retail Project Management on all aspects including planning, financial and team management through design and production.
The building is the heartbeat of Dyson. Over 1,500 people, including James himself, spend their days strategizing, inventing technology and telling the Dyson story to the world. From 2016, our HQ will begin doubling its footprint with an ambitious new expansion.
The Retail and Events Team are responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through our instore and events environment. We are a diverse team of specialists including designers, go to market, project and production managers that work with our commercial teams and global markets to deliver excellence within the Dyson retail environment.
Driving delivery of the projects through all functions
Managing timelines and budget trackers for each project, reporting to key stakeholders
Ensuring that all projects are briefed in on time and are fully resourced across all functions.
Where key dates cannot be met, the Senior Retail Project Manager is responsible for recommending solutions, supporting the functional heads to implement the recommendations.
Strategically work with the senior retail team to prioritise in line with the retail team strategy
Widespread experience of project management and planning, with strong direct retail and creative agency experience
First-hand practical experience of Prince2 methodology
Ability to oversee and drive through multiple global projects running simultaneously.
Problem solver, proactive and solutions orientated.
Resourceful, energetic with a can-do attitude and an eye for the detail.
Ability to lead and direct a multi-functional team to deliver projects on time and within allocated resource.
Influencing and Negotiating – must be able to lead cross functionally and influence effectively.
