Description

Working as part of the Talent Acquisition Team you would be responsible for arranging large volumes of face to face, Skype and telephone interviews for candidates with high quality and accurate. This would involve you communicating with hiring managers across the business and liaising with a number of departments within the business and dealing with 3rd party to make sure all checks are complete on new starters.

Function Overview

Dyson is a technology business that values people above all else. This puts HR at the heart of the business – with specialist functions for Talent Development, Acquisition, Operations and Rewards. The HR Generalist function is the linchpin of all of these departments. We oversee every people-related decision, with unique knowledge of the bigger business and commercial objectives. Which makes us a vital voice in the boardroom at Malmesbury HQ.

Accountabilities

  • Arrange large volumes of face to face, Skype and telephone interviews for candidates – some of which can be complex

  • Responding to Hiring Manager’s recruitment queries face to face or on email

  • Producing and sending all contracts and offer paperwork for new starters

  • Assisting Talent Development team with the Induction Programme for new employees

  • Liaising with HR Admin to ensure new starters set up on People and payroll correctly

  • Liaising with 3rd party referencing agency to ensure all pre-screen checks are done within SLA

  • Liaising with Procurement regarding new suppliers/consultants

  • Intermediate level at excel to be used for reporting

  • Manipulation of large volumes of data

  • Keep recruitment trackers up to date and produce reports as required

Skills


  • Experience of working within a recruitment environment would be ideal

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • A flexible approach in supporting a demanding, reactive team        

  • Excellent IT skills to include MS Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Previous experience using databases would be useful

  • Solutions orientated

  • A flexible team player

  • Well organised, driven and enthusiastic
