We are looking for a Strategic Talent Leader to help engineer Dyson’s future. Partnering with our Research, Design and Development teams in the UK (where the Dyson magic happens) you will work with senior stakeholders and HR teams to understand future talent and capability needs, identify talent strengths/ gaps and develop our leaders and talent to shape the future, creating a unique Dyson talent experience.
In our Global RDD & Operations team there are over 2,000 engineers and scientists at Dyson, dedicated to inventing and improving Dyson machines. Radical thinkers, obsessed by performance and excited by the new. Not bound by the rules of conventional thinking. Contrary and competitive, with a need to be first.

This is an exciting and unique time at Dyson and an equally unique role. As part of the broader global talent team, there will be the opportunity to be involved with other innovative global projects across the Dyson world (which have this year already included a radical new approach to performance, and a self driven early careers talent programme)
- Based in our Global HQ in Malmesbury (with some international travel) you will act as a strategic partner to our UK based engineering teams during a time of significant , growth, diversification and change.
- Working with senior stakeholders and HR teams you will create, support, influence and engage the business in a consistent approach to talent management and development.
- Identifying future talent & capability needs & partnering HR teams to create appropriate functional & global action plans, You will develop talent pipelines , accelerating the readiness of key talent (from new graduates to senior leaders) in your areas through coaching, team facilitation and programme delivery .
- Add to this your leadership of the Global talent strategy for RDD and Operations - partnering to develop innovative yet pragmatic solutions that will support with major capability shifts in our global engineering teams driven by new technologies , categories, unprecedented growth & scale
The role is ideal for an experienced Talent professional or senior HR Business Partner with lots of experience in & passion for talent management .
We are looking for someone highly credible – which will come from commerciality, excellent senior stakeholder relationship skills and technical expertise in talent / leadership.
