The James Dyson Foundation is dedicated to encouraging young people to think differently and realise their design engineering potential. So we give schools the tools to engineer bigger futures, students the bursaries to bring their ideas to life and educators the capital gifts are helping to build new educational facilities. And we do all of that across the UK, the US, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.
The James Dyson Foundation (JDF) – Dyson’s international charity – aims to inspire young people to realise their engineering potential. We send free engineering activities into schools, offer bursaries to university students and make capital gifts to enable new engineering education facilities. We operate in the UK, US, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.
We’re looking for a UK Manager who can support the work of the James Dyson Foundation in the UK as the charity grows, as well as four new Dyson charitable trusts which are recently established. We need someone with experience in the charity sector and a passion for philanthropy - especially education and healthcare. We are looking for someone highly organised, comfortable representing the charity trustees at high profile meetings and events and with a natural flair for writing.

lead and support our ambitious plans. It’s a brand new role that offers brand new challenge and opportunity and
to work with our most
senior people to influence the Foundation and shape the role.
Taking the lead on all of the Foundation’s project work, you’ll build the relationships that roll out school engineering education and university partnerships. With schools, that will include developing and delivering programmes, while with universities that means managing key relationships, setting a joined up strategy and developing our university bursary and scholarship programme. Key elements of the role also include championing and communicating the Foundation’s work and researching and managing gifts and grants.
