The Unified Communications Specialist will manage, support and maintain Dyson’s real-time communication & collaboration platforms, devices & meeting spaces. Defining the global processes, best practice & configuration of all related technologies, devices and services including such solutions from Microsoft,  Avaya,  Polycom, Crestron, Sonus, BT aswells as others.

Function Overview

Supporting 10,000 users globally and an increasing number of endpoints the End User Computing Team maintain everything that the client touches at a  2nd and 3rd line level. Across desktop and mobile using technologies and applications including Apple, Microsoft, Skype for business, Polycom, Airwatch, Casper, SCCM, SNOW and much more. Managing all assets whether hardware, software or license the team are fast paced, technically astute and understand the importance of service.


As a Unified Communications Specialist you will be responsible for management and administration of global unified communications systems and platforms and defining the global processes, best practice & configuration of all related technologies, devices and services.

You will drive simplicity in communication & collaboration across the business and enable people to exchange ideas and do their jobs more effectively wherever they are and work closely with internal business units to deliver communication strategies that meets the business need.


You as a specialist will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Skype for Business including Audio, Enterprise Voice & Dial-In Conferencing and Avaya Communication Manager telephony Inc. contact center features & Modular Messaging voicemail. You will demonstrate a passion and proven background in providing world class customer service and managing relationships and commercial experience with Microsoft Surface Hubs.

It would be desirable if you have experience with AirWatch Mobile Device Management & implementation and avaya adjunct applications including Call Management System, System Manager, Session Manager, Session Border Controller, Application Enablement Services
