This is an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a rapidly developing and constantly growing cutting edge consumer goods business. Dyson are expanding its footprint in SEA and are looking for experienced staff to take Dyson through its next stage of growth.

Market Overview

The Dyson warehouse team in Philippines will oversee all aspect of warehouse operations relating to activities in running Dyson’s high tech Dyson Digital Motor (DDM) facility, as well as operations pertaining to the manufacturing and exporting of finished goods produced by our contract manufacturer in Laguna in the Philippines.

Function Overview

Responsible for the operations of the Warehouse functions with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, responsible for a group of Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Material Handlers in ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving the business targets. This will include the planning, strategizing and execution of offsite warehouse project while sustaining the existing warehouse operations.  And ensure that the project plan will be implemented on-time and  at an optimal cost to Dyson while managing normal warehouse operations to ensure to business impact to both warehouse and production operations.  Provide management support to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring Warehouse targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Works with the Senior Supply Chain Manager in developing the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely. Works under minimal supervision, reviewed by Senior Supply Chain Manager. Decisions and results have an impact on the function and their success. Performance affects the function’s image.


This is what we need you to do…

  • Assists in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfill the operational and customer demand and meet set targets

  • Strategizes and executes offsite warehousing project plan until its implementation without any business interruption to the normal warehouse and production operations. 

  • Ensures the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules

  • Trains new Warehouse operatives within the area of responsibility

  • Ensures inventories in area of responsibility are accurate

  • Ensures stock movements are recorded accurately

  • Supports organising and participates in stock takes at regular intervals

  • Ensures that any computerised or automated systems are accurate and up to date

  • Identifies any systems and process improvements and makes recommendations for change

  • Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level

  • Produces regular reports and statistics as and when required

  • Reviews ways to reduce waste

  • Assists in planning future capacity requirements

  • Ensures that health and safety meets the required standards and carry out risk assessments

  • Ensures that all lifting and maneuverings of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures

  • Ensures hazardous materials are stored in accordance with requirements

  • Ensures that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose

  • Maintains high standards of security in the warehouse

  • Ensures staff comply to health, safety and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment

  • Ensures a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency


This is what we need you to have...

  • People and task management skills with the ability to motivate, develop and manage his / her direct reports.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Solid hands-on experiences in offsite warehousing

  • Good computer skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems

  • Knowledgeable in SAP will be an advantage

  • Analytical and numerical

  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality

  • Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines

  • Excellent attention to details

  • Candidates with forklift license will be an advantage
