Description and Requirements

We are looking for an HMI / UX Designer to assist with the design and development  of  Information Architecture, Interaction model, Wireframing and Usability Testing at various stages of the sprint cycle of various features and functionality

We’ve begun work on a battery electric vehicle – that’s no secret. It has remained our ambition to solve the worldwide problem of air pollution for nearly 30 years. Now that we have the ability to bring all our technologies together into a single product, we’re able to solve this problem at the source. For now, it’s all about finding the right people to make it all happen for 2020.

Accountabilities:

  • HMI Design including Information Architecture, Interaction model, Wireframing and Usability Testing at various stages of the sprint cycle of various features and functionality
  • Liaising with all stakeholders for input and reviews.
  • Creating specification documents for implementation teams
  • Cross platform feature design and a holistic approach
  • Presenting to senior management regularly
  • Experience in App design for iOS and Android and cross functional automotive platforms.

Skills:

  • Portfolio – creativity and design knowledge in Automotive HMI and Apps 
  • Adaptable for high paced and start-up Dyson environment
  • Can perform in high time pressure and keeps positive outlook overall and will fit well in the Design philosophy and team
  • Adobe Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects (optional)
  • Sketch, Flinto
  • MS office including Visio
  • HTML 5 (optional)
  • 3-5 years in HMI for Automotive or equivalent environment
  • IOS or Android App design (optional)
  • Minimum BDes. in UX, UI, Interaction design or equivalent
  • Human Factors Degree in HMI or equivalent
